• Guestbook: Your name/alias and message will be collected and stored in our database to be displayed publicly on the site for other visitors to see.
• Contact Form: Your name, email, and message will be collected and sent directly to the site administrator. This information is kept private and is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Managing Your Data:

If you wish to have your guestbook entry or contact submission removed, please use the contact form or reach out via GitHub, and I will promptly delete the data from our servers.

This project was built from scratch using modern, lightweight, and highly efficient tools.

Cloning the repository allows you to get a full local copy of the "My Universe" project.

Steps to Clone:

1. Install Git: If you don't have Git installed, download it from git-scm.com/downloads.
2. Open your Terminal/Command Prompt: Navigate to the directory where you want to save the project.

   cd path/to/your/desired/directory

3. Clone the Repository: Use the git clone command followed by the repository URL.

   git clone https://github.com/RandomCatUser/RandomCatUser.github.io.git

4. Navigate into the Project:

   cd RandomCatUser.github.io

5. You now have a local copy of the repository! Open index.html in your browser to view it.

To make this universe more interactive, a Guestbook feature has been added! This allows visitors to leave a friendly message, feedback, or just say hi.

When you submit an entry to the guestbook, the name (or alias) you provide and your message are collected and stored securely in our database. This information is then rendered publicly on the guestbook page for anyone visiting the site to see.

Moderation & Privacy:

To ensure a safe and welcoming environment, guestbook entries are subject to moderation. We reserve the right to remove any content that is spam, offensive, or violates our Terms of Service. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information (like passwords, addresses, or phone numbers) in the guestbook, as the data is publicly visible.

By submitting a guestbook entry, you acknowledge that your provided name and message will be publicly displayed.
